Russ on the Suss - Arts Council Feature
The novel follows the story of 11-year-old Russ, a lover of puzzles, mystery and adventure as he faces his biggest challenge yet. With the help of his friend Susie, Russ sets about solving the legacy left to him by his great-grandfather GG.
The novel, written by local author Mo Maher from Newcastle, Co. Down was inspired by Mo’s own grandson has been published by local children’s book publisher, Emain Publications. Supported by the Creative Industries Innovation
Fund through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the Department for Culture, Arts and Leisure the book is already very popular with readers young and older, in a tale that captures the imagination of youth, embedded with a wonderful sense of traditional storytelling mastery.
